This popular workshop teaches you how to write a press release in one day.
Learn what makes a good story, how to identify the stories in your organisation that will appeal to journalists, their readers and your customers.
Practise pitching your story to an editor and have a go at writing a press release under the guidance of a professional journalist.
I offer group sessions via Zoom (maximum four places) as well as 1:1 and bespoke workshops for individuals or teams (ideal for anyone keen to take PR services in-house). Prices available on request.
This full-day, hands-on workshop is available online via Zoom with a maximum of four places per session.
Who it’s for: Anyone with responsibility for PR, publicity and marketing in their organisation.
Dates: Runs regularly on the first Tuesday of the month. Other dates may be available on request.
Price: £150 per person for group session.
Results: Scores of What’s the story ‘students’ have gone on to have their press releases published in local, regional and national newspapers and magazines as well as on radio and TV.
